  how solar power works

Solar Photovoltaic (PV) panels work by converting the sun's rays into electricity. PV panels consist of one or two layers of a semi-conducting material, usually silicon. When light hits the solar PV panels on your roof, it creates an electrical field across the layers, causing electricity to be generated. This electricity flows through a cable to a central point (normally somewhere in your roof space), where it is converted by a small device called an inverter from Direct Current (DC) to Alternating Current (AC).The power can then be used throughout your household in the same way as electricity from mains supply to run all your appliances and lighting.

  The Green FrogTM Difference ?
The panels are integrated into your roof - no ugly protrusions !
